第一次来湖北，荆门这个城市生活节奏比较慢，生活悠闲安逸，人也好相处，整体感觉都不错，有机会的话，会考虑再去那边玩。

说真的，确实是算不上什么景点，小学的时候学校组织去过一次，应该是不要门票的，很旧，很黑，好的东西都上交了，没剩什么，也不清楚现在还开不开放

Don't go there if you are not chinese.. The security staff hate foregneirs and try always to have fight with them! Such a shame.. Especially at the muse on the Bund! Try to hire qualified people if you want to have business with no-chinese customers!

I have been there several times and it is worth it.Be prepared to find several chinese teenagers to dance crazy and be drunk with whisky mixed with tea.It is an experience....one of the very few clubs in Xiangyang!To be able to reach the place you need to ask somebody to drive you there (that he/she is able to understand English) otherwise use this very detailed guide www.XiangyangGuide.com that i used to find most night-life places.*the excellent review is given only because it was an amazing experience,...do not expect anything close to a Westernize club BUT it is worth it!

到了襄阳我才知道原来这儿还是出国的都城，当然现在基本上已经看不到王城古时的风采了，连残岩断壁都很少见了，只剩些沟壑的一直能让我们隐隐约约看出古时王城的规模。

We had a city tour after disembarking our ship, and it included this museum, with a guided tour by staff member. Interesting artifacts from the area. What was special was that the museum has a special small exhibition of items from their collection for sale -- not antiquities, but antique items from the early 20th century. Some very fine items of high quality, at prices that were much less than at the state-run stores.

Myself and a friend visited the Museum en route from Yichang Airport to the Yangzte River for a boat cruise. We were dropped off by our guide and taken around the Relics section by a member of the Museum staff. We visited both floors/sections of the Museum - Cultural Relics Exhibition of Three Gorges Yi Chang and Yichang (Chuan-han) Railway. There was a wide and interesting range of exhibits. Notes: No photography allowed in Relics section.

The special exhibit was well done as it focused on the building of railroads in the province which is quite a feat considering this is a mountainous area with many rivers. Another bonus was the English-speaking guide who explained the excavation of a now-submerged island just below the Three Gorges Dam. It was a burial site of an ancient culture and the relics are in the Museum. The guide gave an excellent overview of the importance of this area in Chinese history. Be prepared, as in June, there is no A/C in this old building. But, the outstanding feature was the sale of many items in the museum gift shop for one year, which is to raise money for a new building. If you want items with affidavits, this is the place. A pair of red jade lions was gorgeous. Furniture, tea services, jewelry, vases, and bronze urns was impressive.
