The Shennong River is very pretty (in the Yangze River and Wu Gorege area) and in an environmentally protected area. The local people belong to the Tujia tribe and have their own traditions and folklore. The boats are wooden flat boats and the trackers are part of a tradition in the area. The river was part of the trade between villages in the past. A few years ago, they worked naked, but no longer do so. They pull the boats upstream by means of ropes and they walk along the shore. We were told to request a song by the guide (who is dressed in the traditional Tujia costume), and she obliged by singing a "courting song" with one of the trackers.One interesting bit of knowledge I took from this attraction was that due to the low population base of the Tujia people, they are one of the few ethnic minorities not subject to China's current one child policy.I enjoyed this afternoon and would recommend it. 也不知道这个遗址是干什么的，总感觉没什么意思，可能是我去的那一天心情太浮躁了，去这种地方就应该静下心来好好的感受一下当年的历史，不过整个遗址还挺大的，一些大门都是新秀的，不过修的不好看，和整个遗址有种格格不入的感觉。

这里真不愧是“桃花盛开的地方”，传说中的桃花湖。桃花湖给我们的感觉就一个字“大”，真的是一湖碧水，满湖春色。湖边上还有天然的植物园。春天来这里春游真是美不胜收啊。十分适合春游

去的时候是开车去的，走进去的话估计能累死 ，景区说实话没有很特别的看点，但因为景区是在深山之中 周围农家乐不少。大致就是山和水组成

今天在梁子岛边的山庄茶室里发现了这个果子，大小和一个拳头差不多，表皮光滑且硬，拿起来闻有股桂花的香味。此果的主人不在，不知道这到底是个什么东西了，好奇死了。哪个认识的来给普及下啊！

在梁子岛上吃螃蟹和小黄鱼，好美味。鱼丸真的很不错！！！哈哈走之前还拎了两盒蟹回家。
