We stayed at the hotel for three nights. On the first day we tried to manage our daytours on our own. That's quiet difficult in a forein country with such a diffrent way of life. We don't know how to get to the most intressing spots. At the second day we ask at the reception for help. The hotel manager was very friendly and planed our trip for the next day. We had our own bus and driver for the hole day. The manager told us a lot of points of intrests next to Beijing. He also write our day trip in chinese letters for the driver. We've been to the "Ming Tombs", the "Sacred Way", the "Great Wall", the "Dr. Tea House" and at a factory where Ming dishes has been produced. I think the planed day of the hotel boss was the best day a beijing. He also pick us up with his car and drove us around in beijing. So we saw the pearl market, the silk market and a market where only inhabitants of bejing went out for shopping. That was perfect! The prices for the bus and the entrance-fee can be payed in the hotel. He is is an absolutly trustable man. The rooms are very big a clean! A small kitchen was also there with a refrigerator. The beds are in a perfect condition. This hotel was a stroke of luck. Thank you very much for our great visit in Beijing!

Un po' difficile da trovare, specie per i taxisti, anche perchè esternamente non ha molto del classico appariscente hotel cinese. E' stata infatti aperta in un'ala di un building destinato ad uso residenziale. La hall non è molto grande, ma troverete sempre qualcuno ad accogliervi (parlano un discreto inglese). Accanto c'è la sala per le colazioni (che saranno molto basic, con una macchina automatica per il caffè, yogurt, alcune varietà di dolcetti cinesi, uova cucinate al momento.... l'offerta per assortimento e quantità sarà comunque legata, da quanto ho avuto modo di testare, da quanti ospiti soggiornano). Non è un boutique hotel, ma è comunque un'ottima soluzione per soggiornare a beijing, a pochi metri di distanza dal tempio del cielo, senza spendere molto. Le camere sono pulite (anche se non immacolate....) ed accoglienti (anche se non proprio di design), fornite di tutto il necessario compreso cassaforte e bollitore per il tè, tv. Disponibile anche collegamento internet gratuito. Materassi duri in linea con tutti gli hotel cinesi.
