早上从酒店步行去办事处，这是雪后的乌鲁木齐人民公园。好多年没看到过这样的雪景了。想起来大概是二十五年前，老家还有这么厚的雪。

昨天去了乌鲁木齐人民公园，很漂亮，是一个喧嚣拥挤城市中的一方宁静，那里的人很快乐，很美好，宛如桃源

现在的规划比以前有所改进，主要是加大了绿化面积。公园面积较小，适合晨练和踏青。冬季的冰雕展这几年好像取消了，少了一些看点。

The park is good for people watching because a lot of people go there to do all sorts of things. So it's not so much the park that is anything special or different, but the amount of different groups of people to watch is SO interesting. We never use our parks in these ways and it is great to experience it as a visitor to China.

Centrally located, the Ren Min Park is a great meeting place. Other than its location, Ren Min Park is not very special. It is a large park, and there are some very nice places to sit and have a picnic or drink a beer with friends, but the park itself is not different from other parks in the city.

Nice for a stroll, but not too interesting on its own. Conveniently located, however.Has loads of people exercising both in the morning and evening.

If I lived in Urumqi, likely this is where I would spend every Sunday. Groups of folk gathering to dance, sing, play music, write, or just enjoy. Stunning peony gardens, plenty of children's activities. A must see and do---lovely respite in the city.
